The delicate beauty of the spring iris as seen in van Gogh’s painting ‘Irises’, inspired these handbag designs.
CLASSIC ART NOUVEAU!
I created a variety of curved silhouettes of irises bound by the wavy, twisting, and curling lines of their leaves.
Our tote bag motifs were inspired by the stained glass patterns created by three innovative icons of the early 20th century… architects and designers Charles Rennie Mackintosh (left) and Frank Lloyd Wright
… and artist and designer Henri Matisse.
